Overview
Tubular bulbs do something an A60 or ST64 cannot: they distribute light evenly across a long, linear axis — making them indispensable for glass-shade and fabric-shade fixtures where the bulb shape defines the whole visual. A T30-350mm glowing inside an elongated pendant creates a completely different character from a round globe; the slender silhouette also opens up fixture design possibilities that round shapes close off. HongYu's EU tubular range covers T20 through T45 diameter, 85mm to 500mm length, in clear, gold (RG), and smoky (RC) glass — all CE and RoHS certified for 230V, fully dimmable.

A round A60 concentrates its filament in roughly 20mm of space. A T30-500mm spreads its filament array across 500mm — meaning the light output is even along the entire length, with no bright centre and dark ends. This matters for fixture designers: pendant and sconce profiles that use tubular bulbs as the visual centrepiece need consistent luminance from end to end. Most suppliers cap their tubular range at 225mm or 300mm. Why use tubular instead of a globe bulb?
Tubular bulbs distribute light evenly along a linear axis, which globe bulbs cannot achieve. They also enable slim, elongated fixture designs that round bulbs prohibit.
